The detailed programme will be given by the submitted abstracts. The open sessions will introduce the theme of digitalization for future. The main and young researchers topics will be more research/technical in their respective presenters fields.

The detailed programme will be distributed among the participants.

Workshop registration: Academic: 300 EUR; Academic Young researcher: 200 EUR; Industry: 400 EUR.

Open workshop information

Open workshop session March 26, 2024: shared data and digitalization for future value creation.

The SiC material has made the journey from early research in 1990s when funding programmes for SiC made it a global development. Today SiC is a commercial market. It has made the generation shift of advanced materials to market 30 year journey from research to (real) market. The future includes new business and sustainability models, and digitalization such as tokenization of semiconductors and digital twin of supply chain. This will be necessary to make the next 30 years in manufacturing and technologies for the society.

Each open presentation will have 20 minutes presentation and 20 minutes Q&A and interactive discussion.

The open workshop is a part of transfer of knowledge activities in the EU FET Open project SiComb.
