Internship

This certificate internship is designed as a knowledge-driven internship that increases understanding of how a topic of your interest have context related to semiconductors and artificial intelligence to enable the green and digital transition. It is particularly suited for:

  • Students (Bachelor, Master, PhD)
  • Early-career researchers
  • Professionals and non-experts seeking structured entry into semiconductor-related topics
  • Participants interested in sustainability, AI, digitalisation, and emerging technologies

Internship Structure

Format: Fully online
Duration: February–June 2026
Teaching mode: Lectures, peer-group interaction, and final workshop

1. Introductory Phase (Feb 2026)

  • Online introductory lecture:
    • Overview of semiconductors, AI, and green technologies
    • Context: digital transition, sustainability, and systems thinking
  • Participants receive guidance on:
    • Scope of own choice of topic
    • Expectations for analysis, work in groups, and final presentation

2. Topic Selection (second meeting after two weeks)

  • Participants should have identifyíed a topic of personal interest
  • Description about group work

3. Group-Based Learning & Networking (March–May)

  • Participants are assigned to small peer groups
  • Within a group the participants support each other through:
    • Idea development
    • Feedback on structure and messaging
  • Monthly online update meetings (March, April, May):
    • Progress sharing
    • Short discussions
    • Network building across disciplines and backgrounds

This structure intentionally supports capacity building, interdisciplinary learning, and personal network growth.

4. Final Workshop & Presentation (June 2026)

  • Online workshop with all participants
  • Each participant delivers:
    • 10-minute presentation
    • 10-minute moderated discussion

Participants receive an Internship Certificate after successful completion and presentation.
